A Washington D.C. native, Dr Tabacco credits much of his sports medicine background to his time as a three sport high school athlete at Georgetown Preparatory School where he was recently inducted into the Hall of Fame as a member of the 2000 Football team. Dr Tabacco also served as captain of the ice hockey team and was named to the all Montgomery county lacrosse team by the Montgomery Journal and to the 2000 Maryland All -State Football team by the Maryland Highschool Football Foundation.
A former NCAA College lacrosse player where he was a 3 year All- league selection and one year All American Nominee, Dr Tabacco at one point has suffered from most of the injuries he currently treats and derives much of his passion for sports medicine from this fact. He has served as a Physician for the Washington NFL Football team for 7 years and the Georgetown Prep Hoyas. He currently serves as the medical director for The GW University Athletics and the Georgetown Prep Hoyas.
Dr Tabacco enjoys running, playing club lacrosse, and spending time with his wife and three children.
